FAQs

Where will my massage take place?
Your massage will take place in the comfort of your own space. Please allow a 9 x 6 area clear of furniture and belongings. Please cover or remove any rugs that could be stained by oil. Please no pets in the treatment area.

Must I be completely undressed for my massage?
You may always undress to your comfort level. For some types of massage working directly on the tissue will allow for a more relaxing and satisfying massage experience. If at any time you have questions or concerns about this please let me know so that we can make sure you feel comfortable at all times.

How will I be covered?
In order to allow you to relax in confidence I will always use sheets to create a clear barrier to any area I am working on.

Will you apply anything topically to my body?
When working directly on your skin I will often use a fragrance free fractionated coconut oil or a thicker massage cream.

What should I do before my massage?
Check your schedule. You may be feeling relaxed or even sleepy after our session so give yourself enough time to ease back into your day.

Designate a space to receive a massage.

Take a warm shower. While not necessary this can definitely begin your relaxation before we even get started.

What should I do after my massage?
Drink plenty of water. Hydration is always important and that is even more true after a massage.

Listen to your body. After a massage you may feel relaxed, energized or sore depending on the techniques used during that session. Muscle soreness or aches are normal and should subside within 24-72 hours.

When should I not receive a massage?
It is important to fully complete all medical intake forms and update your therapist of any health changes, as these could make massage potentially unsafe. In order to keep you safe if there is any question about a condition or treatment plan a doctor's release may be needed.

What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
I ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule all appointments. If changes are made with less than 24 hours notice the client will be charged 50% of the session cost. Illness or emergency are exceptions to this policy.

How can I pay for my session?
I accept exact cash, check, Venmo and Zelle for payments.
